2017 Christmas Greetings from Dennis and Ramona Dalling

2017 Christmas Greetings from Dennis and Ramona Dalling For so many wonderful Christmas seasons, we have paused to reflect on the blessings and challenges of the past year, and then, in a Christmas letter, have conveyed our love and gratitude to our Savior and to the angels that He has sent into our lives in the form of family and friends. We have a large binder filled with copies of our Christmas letters sent over the years, dating back more than 50 years. With a few changes in names, dates, and places, we could resend most any letter! Births, marriages, deaths, tragedies and triumphs, just seem to regularly recur through the years, but that is the joy of life, always seeming to be more bright and beautiful as we celebrate another Christmas. I even have file folders with cards and letters that we have received through the years, but we treasure every precious little missive we receive! Early this year, we carefully plann

2016 Merry Christmas from Ramona and Dennis Dalling

Merry Christmas 2016 from Ramona and Dennis Dalling Our hearts and thoughts are turned to our dear family and friends this happy Christmas season, as always. We hope your lives are filled with the joy and happiness that Christmas brings! We do know there is much sorrow in so many lives this year, as we have said goodbye to too many family and friends. That is the price we pay for living so long! We are so grateful for the gift of eternal life evoked as we celebrate the birthday of the Christ. It has been another wonderful year for Ramona and me, as we have traveled and visited so many wonderful family and friends and places! We had a delightful trip to Fiji for the rededication of the temple, just in time for the worst cyclone in their history! But, the temple was spared, as were the General Authorities including Pres Eyring, and the temple is now serving those wonderful people again! We loved reconnecting with so many

DENNIS AND RAMONA’S LOVE STORY          FOREWORD As we review the fascinating journey of this thing we call “our life,” it is abundantly clear that we have not come this far alone. We stand on the shoulders of so many wonderful family members, both ancestors and present-day, friends and associates, church leaders and teachers, that we are overwhelmed with our gratitude and sense of humility! These threads have become virtual bonds in all directions, vertical and horizontal, and have linked us together, inextricably, forever! The late Pres. Gordon B Hinckley, our hero, profoundly reminisced about his three generations of ancestors father, grandfathers, great grandfathers, and three generations of descendants: children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren., He then said “I suddenly realized that I  stood right in the middle of these seven generations – three before me and three after.…there passed through my mind a sense of the tremendous obligation that was mine t

2013 Christmas Greetings from the Dalling Family

2013 Christmas Greetings from the Dalling Family The “Dennis and Ramona Dalling Family” was established well over 62 years ago! Every Christmas since, we have tried to reconnect with family and friends and express and strengthen the bonds of love and affection we have for so many. Though the list has grown exponentially over the years, you are all precious to us! It is our desire, as always, to convey that special feeling that we have for you, and also give a condensed report of the exciting adventure that we call 2013. We decided that our mission this year would be to try to see as many family and friends as we could and to testify of our love for them and our love for the Lord. We do not know how many more Christmas celebrations lie ahead for us, so we need to do it while we are still mobile enough to enjoy the experience! It has been a wonderful year for us with much travel, and wonderful hospitality everywhere we went, by car to California and back, then to Idaho, Ut

Dearly Beloved Family and Friends, Our hearts are broken, as are everyone’s, with the tragic events that seem to come in waves of terror, but we still know that God is there and life eternal is still the promise made possible by our by our precious Savior, especially for innocent little children who are instantly embraced in His loving arms! Notwithstanding the evil in the world, we still celebrate this Christmas with joy as our hearts are turned to the Savior, and to you our dear family and our wonderful friends. We are so grateful that our family is our friends and our friends are family! It has been a very busy and interesting and productive year, with the addition of two wonderful great grandsons, Jacob August Neiffer and David Richard Dalling. This brings the count of our great grandchildren now tied with our grandchildren at 28 each, but we know the great grandchildren will win; time is on their side! We also have a granddaughter expecting twins, so they are coming in multiples!

Christmas Dinner

Thanks giving is past and now we look forward to the best season of all the year when we find that the things of great worth are not things at all, but family, and those who are so precious in our lives! We would like to have a family Christmas dinner at our home in Gladstone on Saturday, 21 Dec. and eat about 2 PM. We would love to have you join us if you are able. Will you please check your social calendar and see if that will work for you? We know some are so far away, but you will be in our hearts! If you can come, please let us know so we can organize the meal; we want everyone to get fed! We will get some more details out as soon as we get a count. If I do not have all the kids emails, tell them they are included! We send our love to you and our fervent wishes that this will be your best Christmas ever!
